Worlds Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Pub-crawl
March 17
Held on what was once known as the "Shortest Street in the World," this 97-foot parade features approximately 50 entries, including a Celebrity Grand Marshall, marching bands, floats and more. The event is topped off with green fireworks and a pub-crawl.

Racing Festival of the South
April 9-14
This racing festival kicks off Hot Springs' Springfest with high stakes races all week, concerts and more fun. It culminates with the running of the Arkansas Derby.

Arkansas State High School Basketball Championship

Contestants fashion bathtubs into race tubs and are pushed down Central Avenue in three heats. Entrants are also judged on tub design and costumes.

Super Retriever Series Crown Championship
June 9-10, 2007
For the third year in a row, Oaklawn Jockey Club has been the location for this prestigious championship. Dogs amaze the crowds with their ability to follow directions from their owner. Also featured are the "Big Air" competitions.
